The Art of Searching Unplugged
Software that implements a new ideea is very rare nowadays. Most programs are either the same old thing with some new features, the same engine with a new GUI or worse, a combination of existing products branded together as a very cool something.
Webaroo is an interesting piece of software which fills the gap between desktop searching and Google, that is, your personal search engine in a box. It may not be 100% original but it certainly is interesting and it is the type of software the search engine makers will not be happy about you having it. That's because with Webaroo you can do your own fine-tuned searches, offline, without any advertisements and without the commercial brainwashing.
It is the type of software that if successfull, could put an end to search engines as we know them today.
