No more eBay for Romania

Meg Whitman, president of eBayApparently, Romanian IP addresses are no longer allowed to access eBay's main web server (www.ebay.com) or any of the regional eBay websites (.co.uk, .de, etc...).
It is unclear at this moment if this is a result of DDoS attacks from Romanian IP addresses or because of the credit card fraud but the fact is that eBay is now off limits for Romanians. A search on Google news for anything related to this turned out empty. (Thanks to Renato for this information.)

Update: Looks like Anonymizer is blocking all ebay.com/.de queries at the moment: Sorry! Anonymizer's Free Private Surfing limits access to the Web site you selected.

Update2: It looks like the ban is only for the pool of IP addresses belonging to the Romanian RDS Internet Provider; eBay connections from other ISPs are working well.
