Microsoft's new AntiVirus / OneCare
I'm back from a way too short vacation in our neighbouring country, Bulgaria.
In the meantime, there are some interesting reports of a loose version of OneCare, Microsoft's upcoming antivirus product.

hmmm... It would be great if MS comes up with its own anti virus!

Rumours say the product will be limited in the number of threats it can detect, that is, will not see "older" viruses but only new, recent ones.
We'll have to see if that is true and how such a product can be useful for the casual users.

I have the best virus protection around, Linux. I do have a window partition and have never gotten a virus and have never used any virus protection.

I've seen cases where people were claiming similar things and their systems were in fact filled with spyware.
I'm not saying this is also the case here, but stating that Linux is the best virus protection around is simply misleading.
For instance, no more than a few days ago, two major Mozilla distributions were found infected with 'Linux.RST.b', a Linux virus. Simply the fact that the installation kits were infected with RST proves my point.
