Make money, fast!
One CEO I've worked with charges staff members five dollars from their budget for each e-mail she receives. Full article, with more tips on (not how to make money fast but...) how to get rid of too many e-mails:

Here's another suitable one, from the same source: "The single best tip I've picked up for email management: turn off automatic checking of emails. Check your email between chunks of actual work, when it suits you, and end the two-minutely interruptions. And the other one, stop reading blogs. Go and do some actual work, you shirker. Yeah you. Right now. Off you go." ;-)

"With free sending to an infinite number of people now a reality, every little thought and impulse becomes instant communication. Our most pathetic meanderings become deep thoughts that we happily blast to six dozen colleagues who surely can't wait." Blogs included? :-)
