Chose not to chose spam.
Sometimes I sit down and think. Or just sit. Or just think. I think what a wonderful world this would be if there were no spammers. Imagine all the people, talking freely, with no spam. No viagra ads. No cialis, rolexes or "free gifts". No oprah, enlargments, shrinkers, stocks, inks, princess Amina, Mrs. Labunu Gezizi, Mr. Wahab Nura, and of course, the old good Mr. Barrister. Just the subtle, pure, green, vibrant sound of clean mail. Amen!
And then my wonderful dream is shattered to pieces by a new e-mail.
E-mail such as this:

What is the worst kind of spam? The one which offers free things which are not so free? The one which tries to scam you? Or, maybe the spam which tries to make you vote a spammer to rule your destiny from the Parliament? One to give new laws to support spammers. Eventually, to have a sweet, sweet world ruled by spammers.
There should be a law to deal with these scummers. Say, when you catch one, cut a finger. Any finger. Next time he gets caught, another finger. So forth, until the spammer has no more fingers. If he keeps spamming, cut a hand. And the other one. Move on to the legs. And if he keeps spamming, remove his tongue. Still up for the job? Remove an eye. Then the other one. And if he still keeps doing it, chop off his head. There, problem solved.
Of course, that will never happen. Especially in country where the laws are scaled by your bank account. When you go to vote on the 12th, carefull whom you chose. Be smart. Defy that spammer. Chose well.
Chose not to chose spam.
